Nerdy Show Network – Month in Review: April

Hey there Nerdy Show Fans! It’s a Nerdy Show Community Update! A review of the latest Nerdy Show happenings by Community Manager, Trench!

When I started doing these I planned on doing them weekly. Last month I decided it made more sense to do them monthly, so from now on I’ll be doing these towards the last week of every month. Better late than never – here’s April!

For Nerdy Show specifically, April saw interviews with Kevin (aka Prince Jellyfish aka Young Crybaby) from Mouth’s Cradle, a microsode where network hosts read excerpts from Heroes of Destiny (as requested by community member MrJMir), Cap, Jon and Bryan’s coverage of this year’s Moogfest and a new episode of Dungeons & Doritos. Earlier in the month several of us from across the network traveled to Melbourne, Florida for Space Coast Nerdfest, where we put on a panel with George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost.

Derpy Show returned after a brief hiatus, bringing you the latest and greatest in a long list of rhetorical questions; EPIC PIEcast took you into orbit with their antics; Flame ON! gave you their take on The Winter Soldier, Ru Paul’s Drag Race and the latest happenings in their favorite comics; Wicked Anime covered Anime Boston and Kill la Kill; in Ghostbusters: Resurrection, the Central Florida Ghostbusters continued their search for their missing international counterparts in Slovakia, near Bathory, home of the infamous Countess of Blood; Marc with a C continued “The Journey” in The Real Congregation and his entire holiday performance from 2013 was released; and a brand new podcast featuring Dr. Vern of Sci-Fried and Nerdy.FM, The Nerd Groove debuted, showcasing the best and brightest in Nerd music, as well as delving into the history of the genre.
