UPDATE: New Maps From Our Minecraft Server + MORE

The file size of Nerdy Show’s Server of Awesome is growing epic in scope.  So big, Cartograph can barely keep up, but we’ve mapped it again!  My, how she’s grown. Just look at the size of that Drownball tank! Dang! (Scope it in the link below)

Nerdy Show’s travelogue through this mysterious world of Lantern Corps Shrines, creepy towers, hidden shrines, and freaking DEATH STARS will continue!  Our fearless correspondent Kristin, aka ckrickett, will be braving the frozen, pixelated tundra in search of adventure and amazing acts of Minecrafting and reporting her findings.   Send pictures of Nerdy Show Minecraft buildings, scenery, and happenings to ckrickett@nerdyshow.com.  Be sure to include your Minecraft handle and any details about what you’re sending photos of like general location and what’s the story.

The development in these two weeks has been INSANE, and I’ve never seen the server empty. PLUS Brian, so enthralled by the Black Mage statue (who made that btw?), posted it on Nuklear Power.  Suffice it to say there’s a lot of traffic, and we’re going to have to upgrade the server soon.  So DONATE or BUY A SHIRT to support Nerdy Show and Minecraftery madness.

    Yeah, the server is going to have to get an upgrade, the lag right now it truly horrendous. It takes a minute for anything to happen, it seems like. The building and whatnot is fun, though, and I hope to make stuff that isn’t crap.

    yes, the Black Mage was done by Raven777. also, check out my Flaming Dirt Castle, and also my Cathedral/Antechamber of Knowledge! Also my Drownball Arena (WIP), and Master Sword! And even More soon to come!

    Heh, heh, heh, I’m actually a bit disappointed that the shit hasn’t hit the fan with Survival Multi yet. I love our carefree building, but I want us to know FEAR. But, I’m excited that it’s next in line.

    Well, for me, the aggressive mobs just make me fear for my BUILDINGS more than for me. If it’s just me, they’re kinda annoying. Plus, with all the other folks who’re on, they shouldn’t be too much of a threat. What would be REALLY cool would be a way to control the monsters and have them fight each other.

    I am so glad that the server’s being upgraded, the lag was becoming unbearable. Thank you so much! Now I can build my ocean palace.

    I’m still out of town, don’t know 100% what Jon’s cooked up to improve the hardware, but I hope it’s gotten better. I agree, the lag was unbearable.

    I wonder if upon the next map update we’ll be able to see my “Pure Land”, I know at least ONE of the structures will be “satellite visible”, pics coming soon

    Hey guys. Love this server everyone is so helpful in donating materials to finish our monuments that we create. In the two days I was away from the spawn point many awesome building went up. I won’t be able to play for awhile because I am moving to Baton Rouge so I am excited to explore when I can get on again. See you all later.

    I agree with Cap about wishing Multi server having a survival mode update! I kinda want it, it’s great that we have this amazing utopian world but a bit more danger would make it very interesting

    I’m with yoshi, seriously you guys… you do amazing things. To those of you who’ve donated, thanks a lot. We’re working on figuring out what we can do to improve service within the limitations of the alpha.
