Flame On :: Episode 280 :: No Way Home For Spiderman
Flame ON! is the all-gay, all-geek podcast. Tune in as we dish on the latest in pop and queer culture.
Whether it’s spinning webs with the greatest of ease, helping the citizens of New York City, or knowing that with great power also comes great responsibility, Spiderman always knows where his heart is. However, when the fabric of reality starts to tear apart, will our friendly neighborhood wall crawler find brotherhood in three of him, or will he find that for the first time there might actually be no way home?
It’s the start of a brand new year and the boys have put on their sling rings and grabbed their geometry textbooks to navigate through the mirror dimension to converge at the round table to discuss the topic that was on everyone’s lips at the end of 2021, Marvel and Sony‘s third entry into the Tom Holland trilogy, Spiderman: No Way Home! From Spidey’s plea to the (former) Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange to his multiple costume changes, to the lack of storyline for Sandman and The Lizard, the boys will break down their favorite parts, and their less favorite parts, to give their hot takes on whether or not this film was worth the wait. They also throw out wild conjecture and speculation on whether there really is no way home for Peter after he makes the sacrifices he needs to in order to keep those he loves safe… or is it just a ploy to keep us hooked and waiting for more (ok, that one is easy… of course we’ll be coming back for more)! To wrap up the episode the boys share their flame ratings!
