We talk about ball handling a lot on Nerdy Show… But usually it’s less Friday Night Lights and more secret time with your wacky uncle. While the tossing of the virtual pigskin isn’t usually our favorite past-time – if you put some spikes on that ball, and have it being caught by a skeleton with dreadlocks covered in orc blood… that gets our attention. And it got our attention 20 years ago – Fans of gruesome gridiron massacres rejoice: Mutant League is back!
What was once Mutant League Football on the Sega Genesis has been reborn as Mutant Football League and it’s searching for fan funding via Kickstarter. We talk with original series creator Michael Mendeim about bringing his gory and hilarious football game back from the dead, what new and returning features fans can expect, parodying the sports industry, the Mutant League games that never were, and the ground-breaking animated series. Join Cap, Brandon, Tony, Colin, and Josh as we also discuss Grand Theft Auto V, and the other games we’re playing.
