E3 Vidcasts :: Battlestar Galactica: Online
So far all video games based on Battlestar Galactica have all been super-lame. No rich characterization, no political intrigue, no rolling around drunk on the floor, no glowing spinal cords during sex… nothing. But an online game… might that be the ticket to a gamer getting truly entrenched into the world of Battlestar? When would it take place in the timeline? Triforce Mike demands answers… like for starters, who let a frakkin’ toaster into E3. It’s a frakkin disgrace!
Admittedly, we’re still a bit skeptical. We were able to see some of the pre-alpha gameplay where you could fly around as a Cylon Raider and fight people. That was pretty cool, but as Mike pointed out during that demo – Centurions don’t fly Raiders, Raiders fly themselves. With that being the case, what chance is there for a really cool game that lets you walk around on the Galactica or New Caprica, never knowing who to trust? Like the man said, we won’t know for sure until ComiCon next month, but we’re certainly excited to find out.
