Flame On :: Episode 315 :: She-Hulk: Attorney At Law

Posted by Bryan on December 9, 2022

Flame ON! is the all-gay, all-geek podcast. Tune in as we dish on the latest in pop and queer culture.

Are you a superhero (or villain) in need of a lawyer? Maybe you’re just looking for a new law firm to work for and want to meet Megan Thee Stallion so you can twerk with her in an office with a view. Well, Jennifer Walters would like to welcome you to GLK&H… she just hopes you survive the experience!

Dear listeners, it’s long overdue, but the boys have made their way to the law firm of GLK&H to discuss and dissect the latest Marvel Phase 4 TV series on Disney+She-Hulk: Attorney At Law! From the creative mind of Jessica Gao and the directing talents of Kat Coiro, this entry into Phase 4 of the MCU follows Jessica Walters as she transitions from her life as a mild-mannered lawyer to a reluctant superhero AND mild-mannered lawyer. The boys kick the discussion off with their highlights including the cast, the overall fun of the show, the handling of internet trolls, and a certain devil’s walk of pride. After the fun stuff is over, they get to hulk out over the things that missed the mark a bit including the lack of screen time for some of the characters, pacing issues, and some of the real-world reactions to the show overall. From the drawn page to the user interface for Disney+, Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk has made quite the impression on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the boys are excited to share their thoughts with you!
