NERDY STRIP 28: ARTIST OWIE

September 6th, 2010

So, as three of you may have noticed, there was a distinct lack of Nerdy Strip last week.  Suffice it to say that I have been summarily punished for my slacking.  So many burns… So many images that shall be forever burned into my retinas.

To make up for my laziness, you guys’re going to get two strips this week!  Otherwise I get to see Mike’s tri-force again.  You wouldn’t wish that upon me, would you fair Nerdy Show listeners?  Don’t answer that.

Exciting news from Nerdy Strip coming up at the end of the week to coincide with the second strip!  What could it be?

NERDY STRIP 27: MALCOLM XBOX

August 24th, 2010

Nerdy-Strip-27As you folks may have realized, Hex is spearheading a “Fight the Power” movement of his very own.  Here’s hoping he’s nice and clear as to which power he happens to be fighting!

NERDY STRIP 26: WEEKEND OF THE WALKING CARPET

August 16th, 2010

Nerdy-Strip-26That’s the problem when travelling with Hex, people always confuse him for giant, hairy celebrities. Here’s hoping the boys had fun at Star Wars Celebration V: The Empire Keeps on Truckin’.

NERDY STRIP 25: THEY SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING

August 9th, 2010

Nerdy-Strip-25We all knew this day would come.  The day when the lines between fantasy and reality would blur to the point that the two were indistinguishable from one another.  And on that day… Mike would break into your house and steal all your shit!

Until its release, the Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World video game is available for pre-order on the PS3 $5 off! What’re you waiting for, an invitation from Brian O’Malley!?

Well you’re not getting one.

NERDY STRIP 24: THE PASSION OF THE LIP FERRET

August 2nd, 2010

CAUTION: CONTAINS RED HULK SPOILERS! CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

Nerdy-Strip-24Before the epic Nerdy Show Call-In even begins, the questions start flowing!  To think, all of the issues with the Red Hulk could have been solved with an industrial strength vial of Rogaine for Men.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m certainly looking forward to this call in shin-dig.  I look forward to talking to you all tomorrow night!

NERDY STRIP 23: SELF-FLUFILLING PROPHECY

July 26th, 2010

Nerdy-Strip-23I was wondering what that monkey was doing at Nerdapalooza.  If only I had watched Outbreak more recently, I’d have known to look for the signs.  Nerdapa-flu-za could have been avoided!

Unfortunately, [hex] now has to eat the words he uttered back in the Dystopia episode.  If you’ll excuse me, there’s a simian out there somewhere in coke-bottle frames that needs tending to.

NERDY STRIP 22:BLARGAFRGL

Nerdy-Strip-22

NERDAPALOOZA has come and gone, and how did your Nerdy Boys weather the proceedings?  About as well as can be expected.

This past weekend was amazing, with an outrageous amount of standout acts and moments.  Several of which will be used as blackmail later in life!  I’d bore you with the awesome details, but I think that’s better suited to the gents of Nerdy Show proper in this week’s forthcoming episode.  In the meanwhile, enjoy this visual representation of the way that everyone who attended the Protomen show now feels.  Rock on!

NERDY STRIP 21: NOT THAT IT’S ON OUR MINDS

July 12th, 2010

Nerdy-Strip-21You know, if I didn’t know any better I’d say that Nerdapalooza was just around the corner.  Perhaps even occurring this coming weekend, July the 17th and 18th at the Orlando Airport Mariott.  I’d even surmise that it’d be somewhat of a big deal, to say nothing of the list of Nerdy artists performing.  I’d say that the ticket prices for said event were outrageously low, and that you should purchase them swiftly so as to be able to attend this massive event.  Thankfully I know better, and so I don’t need to say any of that stuff.

In all seriousness, Nerdapalooza’s going to kick serious patootie.  I’ll be there.  Will you?

Words and art for this weeks comic were provided by Tony Baldini, and a heaping helping of Nerditude.

NERDY STRIP 20: Filling In CHAIR’s Crack

July 5th, 2010
Plot Hole
Patching

Nerdy-Strip-20-resize

As you folks may recall, in the second episode of Dungeons and Doritos, CHAIR came into possession of an Asperger’s Asbestos Bear rug.  It was the little tyke’s first time experience with clothing/a portable marriage official.  But aside from a mention in the Quest for the Erotic Pangolin, CHAIR’s rug was never heard from again… UNTIL NOW!

Oh!  Here be a link to the Maze episode, in case you’d all forgotten about that little “Death Shack” which was referenced in the strip.

It should also be made mention of that there is a new feature coming to Nerdy Show… Specifically Nerdy Strip.  The details of which are still being hammered out.  Once there is something concrete in place, word will be put out.  Until then, fair readers, stay tuned!

NERDY STRIP 019 :: Origins: Triforce Mike

June 28th, 2010

Nerdy Strip 19As it reads in our official bios:

“Triforce” Mike earned his moniker when he wowed Nerdapalooza 2008 by getting to World 8-4 in Mario Bros. during an Uncle Monsterface show.  Shocked by the demon they’d set loose, the band wrote the now legendary “Triforce Mike Theme“  on the spot to celebrate his greatness and subdue his savage hunger for pink-skirted princesses.

But the real truth… Triforce Mike’s true origin… is wrought in abuse and shame too horrible to be revealed, until now.

How can you ask Triforce Mike deeply personal questions like this?  Just ask him anything over at his FORMSPRING.

Nerdy Strip is written and drawn by Tony Baldini.
