The drunken fanfiction podcast you’ve been waiting for! Friday Night Fanfiction combines dramatic readings of the worst-of-the-worst NSFW fanfic with drinking games.
By some strange providence, the show made it past the pilot episode without getting cancelled! To celebrate, the crew followed up last episode’s triple-header by reading only one fanfic! In Part 1 of the Final Fantasy VIII fanfic “Gamerz Fantasy VIII” by The Playing Mantis, the author spends a lengthy amount of time building up character and backstory before trapping Selphie with two Minotaur brothers (named Minotaur and Sacred, how creative). These two animal-men get right to giving the questionably-aged SeeD member Stockholm syndrome in order to ravage her. This is apparently how people get Guardian Forces in Final Fantasy VIII. I wouldn’t know, I’ve never played it, and if this story is any indicator of what the game consists of – I’m glad I haven’t.
