VIDEO: Weird Al’s “Germs” :: Cap & Colin’s Homemade 90s Fan Film
In the summer of 1999, hot on the heels of the release of Running With Scissors, future Nerdy Show personalities and childhood friends Cap and Colin got together to make a music video for Weird Al’s “Germs”. They borrowed some equipment from their Middle School, created some “germ” costumes by gluing cotton to garbage bags, and made some sizable messes.
