Microsodapalooza :: Sept 27th 3pm-9:30pm EST!

microsodapaloozaGet ready for a day of nerding out with Nerdy Show!

Microsodes are fan-requested, 15 minute episodes and we’ve got quite a backlog –  so we decided to throw a Microsodapalooza! We’re recording 22 Microsodes in a row, with a bunch of hosts from all across The Nerdy Show Network covering every frontier of geeky topics. What topics you ask?  Well how about…

Cybernetics, cyberpunk, robots, evil A.I., Bill Nye the Science Guy, The Internet – how does it work?, scientific skepticism, Archer, movies that perfectly pair CGI and practical effects, best not-holiday movies, fan games, Fallout, breaking games, video games as an art form, pop culture that never came to pass, the DC animated universe, non-mainstream comics, writing duos, nerdy jokes, Reboot, arcade games, and fighting games

Yup.  That’s what we’ll be doing; in that order.  If you’ve ever wanted a behind the scenes look at what goes on in a Nerdy Show recording, now’s your chance! Spy on us in the studio and get a sneak preview of our upcoming podcasts.

WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW!

Note on the stream: in spite of a lot of testing, Hangouts caused us a ton of problems. The result is a late start and quite a number of false-starts on this video.  Eventually, we had to give up on using Hangouts to connect with our remote hosts. Though the resulting method recorded fine, none of those hosts can be heard. These will all appear intact and in pristine condition in the final podcast releases. Below is the entire stream as it aired, until it was unceremoniously cut off since we ran into overtime.

    I remember K-Mart BlueLight. We had used Juno and Net-Zero ad-supported dial-up internet access.
