Come see with your own eyes the archaeological discovery of the century that our Minister of Science and Chief Defender of the Faith doesn’t want you to see. Proof of the advanced creative block people who came before us. Leave the beat path to come see this wonder before someone tries to finish what nature has start.
The entrance to the interior is partly visible as the gray button on the bottom of its side. A staircase inside leads up to the shoulders and viewing deck of the statue.

This design came from a childhood love of both Legos and Planet of the Apes. I explain Minecraft to new people by starting with saying it’s a digital Lego set, so the idea of Lego figures as forefathers combined nicely with wanting to build something Ape-related after watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It used ~3000 blocks of wool collected from my underground sheep farm (now dead), and was built without flying, thankfully beds were working for at least some of it.
