This sub-forum was empty so I figured I’d put this in it. Now, for the monumental task of answering my on question…

Here’s the SHORT list, which only counts Webcomics that I read at a rate of 1 Page a week or more. This is to say that it does NOT include comics that I read that are on hiatus or that I am behind on, because if it did it would be a significantly longer list. To make up for this over-site I’ll include a 1-sentance description of each comic.

Rain – Transgirl trying to make it through a Catholic Highschool without getting humiliated and expelled.
Blooming Faeries – Basically a soft-core comedy. It has lost it’s humour though lately so I’m thinking of dropping it.
Cucumber Quest – Boy Magician needs to save Bunny world, in which most people are compelled to enforce the story’s troupes whether he likes it or not. Done by Gigi Digi.
Darths & Droids – Starwars as seen by a disfunctional (which is to say typical) Tabletop Roleplaying Group.
Eerie Cuties – Monster School; usually pretty funny.
El Goonish Shive – Transformation Rays and Magic Awesomeness; featuring some major art evolution.
OoTS – VERY self-aware comic set in a world that runs on D&D rules (mostly 3.X). It is hilarious.
Gunnerkrigg Court – Technomagic School beside Wild-magic forest, hilarity ensues.
Kiwi Blitz – 14-Yearold Girl is given pilotable Kiwi-shaped giant robot, decides to become a vigilante.
KhaosKomix – The same story told from the perspective of around 8 students, including 3 gay men (one of whom is a Tran-man), 2 gay women, 1 Bi Trans-woman, a single-target sexuality guy, and 1 straight guy.
Looking For Group – A bunch of anti-heroes save the world while an undead mage makes a whole lot of hilarious pop-culture references.
Misfile – Stoner Angel literally misfiles the last 2 years of a girl and the sex of her neighbor; Street-racing Ensues. (Thinking of dropping this but I probably won’t)
MS Paint Adventures – This is your brain: brain. This is your brain on MS Paint adventures: esakujfhaid;sghi;aesjf’sejfg’pasujrgoa;shgasj’ojsa
Nerf Now – Videogame jokes. Not always funny but when they work they work well.
The Dreadful – Fantasy Western which you should be reading.
Oglaf – Extremely dirty comedy webcomic (Seriously. if you are under 20 or over 40 it is probably too dirty for you)
Sinfest – 1 Sentence can not describe Sinfest. However it has a generally high quality and it updates 7 days a week.
Sins – Follows the Seven Deadly Sins and the shenanigans they get up to.
Spinnerette – Girl-spiderman in a world that is WAY more self-aware about the whole meta-human thing.
The Adventures of Doctor McNinja – A Doctor Who is also a Ninja who also Wants to be Batman
xkcd – May contain Math & Programming humour.
Weregeek – A bunch of Nerds who may or may not have super-powered inner geeks Roleplay the shit out of everything they can get their hands on (and talk about nerd culture in between sessions).

Foo. All done. and that was the SHORT list.

    Guess who, it's Kaosubaloo!

I used to actively read a whole bunch of webcomics, now I’ve pretty much dropped that. 🙁

I still check out something called Fingerpori but it’s in finnish and generally untranslatable. It’s extremely successful up here though, and as you can see; it’s a real class act (the text on the box says ‘free range Jew soap’).

A good webcomic recommendation though that has already ended would be a comic called 8 bi Captain Suppository. It’s certainly rough around the edges but sort of amusing when you get into it and at least has high enough WTF factor.

Edit: Oh, and lets not forget Elftor!

I meant to start this up a while back but never got around to it.

    Currently reading and still running…

    The Dreadful
    VG Cats
Super Effective (part of the VG Cats site)
    Penny Arcade
    CAD Comic
    Sam and Fuzzy
    Three Panel Soul
    Lumia’s Kingdom (on hiatus actually)
    Awkward Zombie
    Looking for Group
    The Zombie Hunters
    Power Nap Comic

Old comics that either came to an end, are on infinate hiatus, or I just quit on

8 Bit Theater (Warbot in Accounting, HIKYM, etc)
Bob and George (still running I think, but I just can’t keep up with it anymore)
    Blue Zombie
Ink Tank Comics – Now Ink Tank Productions
Mac Hall – transitioned over to Three Panel Soul

There are a few others that I enjoyed but just can’t find the link to them anymore to get the actual title.

    @Kaos

I used to really, really, REALLY like Looking for Group, mostly because of Richard. Then one day I woke up and I realized that I hated Richard. Shame.

I followed Erfworld, the first part of which is featured in OotS’ website, but it’s currently in some sort of hiatus.

Anyway: Erfworld is a rather unusual webcomic about a medieval, pop-culture-reference-filled world that physically abides by the laws of a Grand Strategy game, with people being “popped” from nothing instead of being born and time being measured in turns. It has a lot of humor, and, despite it’s almost cute aesthetic, can be quite violent at times. It started as something of an experiment, but it eventually matured into quite the complex and interesting series.

Also Prequel, an interactive, homestuck-esque webcomic featured in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion universe, starring Katia Managan, a completely inept Khajiit with a patological fear of nobility and serious drinking problems, who doesn’t seem to do anything right, ever, but has a ton of empathy which draws you in quite easily. Nice aesthetics, too.

I also follow a few pony blog tumblrs… But I don’t know if it would be proper for me to post them here.

I, too, have been following Erfworld. Apparently the artist for the strip had a death in the family or some similar personal issue that forced her to stop for a time, and as a result the other people decided to take the opportunity to write up a short-ish prequel novel.

    Guess who, it's Kaosubaloo!

Fine, fine, I’ll make a filtered list then. These are the comics I actually read and are not in hiatus or are done. Or are on the list because I will totally get around to reading them someday. maybe.

    Questionable Content
    The Adventures of Dr. McNinja
    Grrl Power
    Between Failures
    Ctrl + Alt + Del
    Darths and Droids
Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire — I’m actually amazed nobody has listed this one yet.
    The Dreamland Chronicles
    El Goonish Shive
    General Protection Fault
    Girls With Slingshots
    Gunnerkrigg Court
    The Gutters
    Looking For Group
    Misfile
    Penny Arcade
PS238 — This is a particularly fun one. A elementary school for up and coming super heroes. Its very well written and parodies everything. Has a decent amount of depth as well.
    Unshelved
    Wapsi Square
    Weregeek
    Yosh!
Goblins –Another one that I’m surprised not to see on other lists. Read seriously.
Mokepon — About a chain smoking teenager who really doesn’t want to become a pokemon trainer and is forced on a journey anyway.
    Piled Higher and Deeper
    Sequential Art
Drive –Worth reading if you enjoy scifi. A rather different take than what you normally see.
    xkcd
    Johnny Saturn
    Order of the Stick
    Head Trip
    TwoKinds
    Exterminatus Now
    MS Paint Adventures
    Rice boy
    Mega Tokyo
My Little Pony: Friendship is Betrayal

From this we can conclude that I read way too many webcomics.
now onto the hiatus/finished/super rare updates.

    Minus
    Crimson Dark
    DM of the Rings
    Freak Angels
    Finders Keepers
    Erfworld
    8-bit theater
    Ow, My Sanity
DiggerRead this now. Put down whatever you are doing and go read this. Seriously. If you take nothing else from this list read this. While the following Synopsis doesn’t do it anything close to justice, I’ll include it anyway. From Amazon Description of the first book: Digger is a story about a wombat. More specifically, it is a story about a particularly no-nonsense wombat who finds herself stuck on the wrong end of a one-way tunnel in a strange land where nonsense seems to be the specialty. Now with the help of a talking statue of a god, an outcast hyena, a shadow-being of indeterminate origin, and an oracular slug she seeks to find out where she is and how to go about getting back to her Warren.
    Dungeons and Denizens

I… I-I clicked “My Little Pony: Friendship is Betrayal” out of curiosity.
I don’t know if this is disturbingly awesome or awesomely disturbing.
You just made me follow a new webcomic.

I read so many that I had to organize the webcomics folder in my bookmarks by the days of the week. So on, say, Tuesday, instead of checking all of them to see which have updated, I just check the ones in the Tuesday folder. It saves a lot of time.
Anyway, here they are (not counting the ones I’ve fallen behind on):

    – Now also available in English! Make sure to check out his flash animations too. They are awesome.
    – Better if you can read Spanish.

    – Inspired by WarHammer40K, with certain names changed so the author can’t get sued by Games Workshop.

    – Blu Engie-tan is my Minecraft skin.

These last two are on Danbooru, so while the comics themselves are perfectly safe, the site and advertisements are oh so very NSFW:
