I didn’t get very far in reading that before it started pissing me off… “Colonel Shrader” was strike number one, and Casey/April having been school/classmates was number 2 and 3.

Almost makes me wonder how this hack keeps getting work. Then I remember that the sheeple like big explosions, lens flares, shakycams, and shots that don’t stay still for more than a quarter second. (Not to mention filling the ‘plot’ with TnA, racist stereotypes, and wacky side characters)

You are right that there are others to blame, sure but everything you read is Michael Bay is making the film, Michael Bay is telling fans to calm down, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, Michael Bay. His crimes against film are much more vast then supposed “raping of Childhoods”. His film company for example, is remaking horror films from the 70’s and 80’s and they are even more horrible then those films where in the first place. Anyone who works on these films is just as guilty but Bay is the face man. He’s the one up front so he gets the brunt of the attacks.

I would also like to point out that people getting pissed about remakes is a much broader movement than pissing on Michael Bay, look at the recent Total Recall movie. It is a real problem that main stream Hollywood seems to be nothing more then a low class knock off machine now. No original ideas or intelligent implementation of proven ideas, just cheap knock offs like they aren’t even trying anymore. I know I said I hate Micheal Bay earlier in this thread, but you know who I really hate is the mass of mindless mouth breathers who don’t mind blowing 12 bucks to go to the theater to see this shit over and over again. If no one went then they would be forced to change. That unfortunately will always be the case and the quality of movies will continue to spiral down the shit hole, the same is true with Television. Mass Media today, with few exceptions is crap, and that ladies and gentlemen is my opinion on the matter.
