ModeratorJust started listening to the episode, but I’m really liking The B Team.

Participantthat was a great episode!
remember, while it may take 19 muscles in the face and neck to turn the other cheek, it only takes 4 muscles in the leg to kick the shit of the other knob!

Participantmore on topic, I wasn’t really feeling the “B-Team” from the first episode but after hearing the players get into their characters and the addition of Deen in this episode I’m pretty pumped about seeing how this is all going to come together. The “montage” section or whatever you would call it was hilarious.

ParticipantAwesome episode! Dean had me at picking up camp, with my muscles.
Glad to hear everyone falling comfortably into their characters. Excellently done!October 31, 2012 at 9:49 am #27063Downward Spiral
ParticipantFinally got a chance to listen to it. To be honest, I was a little disappointed at first when I realized we wouldn’t be hearing from our main cast in this episode, but the chemistry of this new group really came together in this one. I’m actually really looking forward to hearing more of them now. And yeah, the “travel montage” bit in the middle was absolute GOLD. Awesome stuff guys, really awesome.
On a side note, I wonder if there’s any chance we’ll see character sheets for the B-Team?

ParticipantVery nice. 🙂
Having listened to the episode a 2nd time, though, I’m a bit confused with the group’s relationship with Deen. At the end of the last episode, it sounded like they all knew him (Ryllatrix said something about feeling unclean when he looked at her, or something like that). At the beginning of this episode, though, she and Izzy sounded like they had never met, or knew him mostly through reputation (ie, “Are you SURE this is the guy we need?”). Deen definitely seemed to remember Ryllatrix, though, so I’m not sure what to make of that.

You’re right, that does sound a bit fuzzy. Might be a good idea for us to give these guys a backup story some day. Would be good to clear all that up.

ParticipantYou could argue that the girls might not have recognized his voice from that far away and after him having nothing to drink for days and such. That’s what I’m going with, anyway.

ParticipantFinally caught up on DnD! This episode was amazing, especially the adventure montage. I was practically incapacitated from laughter. The group did a mind-blowingly awesome job playing off each other!

Two years later, I can put input! To me, the “Are you SURE this is the guy we need?” came off substantially more as Ryllatrix really, really didn’t want to rescue Deen. The rest of the dialogue seems to back this up.
That said, Cap’s idea sounds pretty sweet…

ParticipantJust to let you know now, no backup story has been introduced. If that ruins something for you then you have my sincerous appologies, i just hate the feeling of expecting something that doesnt come. But the shows are still good if you haven’t heard yet.
