ParticipantThat cover of Cry Little Sister was pretty great. I just fell down the rabbit hole of realizing that G Tom Mack still exists, and is a fascinating trainwreck: http://www.gtommac.com/music/

Keymaster@maxacree Gosh, I had no idea he was going by G Tom Mack these days… what a strange techno goth man. Howbout that video that opens with him… quacking maybe? while surrounded by cosplayers?
NEW EPISODE IS UP!

Participant@cap, it’s as if he’s cosplaying as Rob Halford while doing karaoke of The Prodigy or something. Also, G Tom Mack was always G Tom Mack so far as I know; you may be confusing him with Epic Sax Man Tim Capello from the boardwalk concert scene in Lost Boys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdaaGlyu7EQ

ParticipantSorry for the Lost Boys thread jack, but I can’t stop digging into G Tom Mack now. I love how this doc just casually mentions him writing for Ice Cube(?) and then hurries right along:
In more relevant news, CoCMP is easily one of my favorite things y’all have done. I really like the in-joke advertisements.

KeymasterI know him exclusively from the Lost Boys soundtrack where he was Gerard McMann:
Anyway… back to our regularly scheduled programming…
Really glad you like the show so much, man! That’s high praise. I am killing myself over these commercial scripts so it’s nice to know they’re doing their job.Anyone know good places to share Call of Cthulhu? We’d love to get the word out since it’s a short series to jump into.

ParticipantI’ve been waiting until it finished up to comment. Absolutely worth the wait. The sounds and music were perfect. I especially love the howl sound in the intro, any chance of a ring tone?#buyyourwaytocool The last episode in particular took the sound design up a notch. The short commercials were great I particularly loved the Brown Gas Company one.
Fantastic job as always from everyone involved. You guys always manage to get excellent GM’s to which one can aspire to emulate and learn from. I think Father Grandfather managed to steal the show largely because he somehow managed to be effective. Thank you for another piece of excellent work.

Keymaster@garayur Thanks so much, dude! It was a journey. Glad to know our efforts paid off. Got some behind the scenes stuff that’ll be coming out on Patreon shortly – lots of ideas that never made it past concepts. Incidentally, you may want to consider NOT using Brown Wet Gas… they don’t have a sterling track record: http://bit.ly/1LRWjFw

ParticipantJust to further the praise, the show was fantastic! Such a fun ride. And Luke spelled it out right from the start – it’s got a slow start, but when it all goes south it goes south FAST. Wonderful material for October.

ParticipantThis was, by far, one stellar mini series. Absolutely loved it! Listened to it every day it came out, at work, while driving to and from work. Definitely loved the sound editing as well. And props to kaymonstar for her dramatic reading of the “diary” in episode 4. Best damn scene, overall, in the series. Thought the ending was a little over dramatic, but after listening to it a few more times, it seemed fitting considering the genre and story.
