I recall in an episode ages ago you guys were complaining about not being able to find Taco-flavored Doritos in your area, and in a more recent episode, reporting that your stockpile of them had since gone bad. Are they still hard to find in Orlando? I’m wondering because I saw an ample supply of them in my local supermarket and I’d be very willing to send some your way.
Also, does anyone have advice on the best method of shipping corn chips ‘cross country? Do I just box up the bags and trust it to the USPS? Or is there a better way?
You lucky duck! Yeah, we’re in a deep, dark Taco Doritos dead zone. Haven’t seen any in ages. Would be much obliged to return to flavor country. You are a saint.
Best way to ship Doritos is in a firm box, not too tight in case something squashes the box. (We’ve experienced some ruptures in transport). Smaller bags are preferred if possible as 1) more likely to eat them all before they go bad and 2) easy to ship to Colin and Lefty!
And care package sent! A store employee I chatted with mentioned that Frito-Lay only guarantees their products freshness for six weeks after their arrival in the store, but hopefully they remain good for long enough after that you’ll be able to enjoy some taco-goodness in a future episode. Expect a package sometime in the next week to ten days.
