Hello Nerdyshow. I haven’t listened to this new State of the Empire just yet, so I’m not sure if you’re still on the lookout for rebel spies to scout out this years Secret Cinema, but I’m currently en route to London from Alaska, and will be attending the event… At least once during my stay. As a long time listener I’d be very excited to share my experience with this fantastic podcast, if you’re still in need of attendee coverage. For now I’m glad this episode release coincides so well with my flight.

Bunch of new set stills floating around the internet today. What’s up with C-3P0’s red arm? That weird asymetrical red striping that the First Order stuff seems to have isn’t really doing much for me, but I’ll reserve judgement until I see it all in context:

The art in that game is gorgeous, but I don’t love how they did the IK based blaster blocking animation there for Vader; the shoulder doesn’t move very naturally. The weapon selection UI seems stylistically out of place to me a little bit too, I wonder what is up with that?

Here is a thing that Disney is doing I noticed the other day when shopping at Barnes and Noble. My daughter loves taking the books off the Golden Books rack so I can put them back. I saw these, and was not overly impressed with them:
