Rescued my missing bro, and he dropped from level 15 (max) down to 1, so that’s great.

Matau (the Hutt world) has a small moon that sort of follows the classic Huttese naming convention of Nal Somethinga (this one is called Nar Hypa). I haven’t been to it for missions, but I noticed it floating over the rim of the main world in the Mission selection screen. Not a huge thing, but I found it interesting.

At level 25, I am finally getting to some Rebel themed missions. these are happening on Anoat. I am trying to blaze through the story mode, mostly to see what, if anything, happens that will feature in Ep 7.

Anoat is an interesting new plot nugget:
When you get that mission, your character doesn’t want to go because it’s been quarantined. Your rebel contact Tam Bastion tells you that it’s no longer dangerous, but the people who used to live there are sort of not-people now. You go there to collect data on where the secret pre-rebel cache of something is located. Your character is shocked to find out that the Empire gassed the whole planet (?) because they couldn’t locate the dissidents there. Bringback Willow made a point to say “that was before Alderaan and everything…” which indicates the man on the street in this universe thinks that the rebellion is what caused the empire to get so ruthless.

Also, Tam Bastion has a mon-cal bodyguard that is amazing.

After you find a bunch of info (strictly McGuffinal info – you don’t actually get to read it), you get sent on yet another detour where you have to rescue some rebels back on Matau. the third one you save knows how to decipher all the data you’ve collected, and now we are on our way back to Anoat to infiltrate the base. So far this has amounted to a multi-mission process of turning on the power, activating the lifts, etc. Presumably something meaningful will eventually happen.

now that all the power is turned on, I get to go to 4 different planets and turn on 4 more signal jammers. The plan is that we (Happy Dapp and Bringback Willow) are going to use our refurbished imperial shuttle to sneak into one of the worlds the Imperials are using to hold the seized contraband that the Iron Blockade has been accruing. This part has been fairly annoying, since I am right at the level required for each mission, and when I complete it, I have to grind to go up one more level to do the subsequent one. I think the levels cap at 40, and I’m 37 now, so possibly looking at the endgame here? hard to say.

that seems unlikely though, since Bespin still doesn’t have any missions for me to do, and it’s clearly on my star map.

Ok, the last 2 Lost and Found World missions require you to be level 40, which is the cap. They all take place on Nar Hyppa, the moon I noticed before. The last world contains….a holographic message from Princess Leia telling you that the Emperor is dead, and while this doesn’t mean the Empire is also dead, it does mean help is on the way. Your sister (in my game as a male Twi-Lek the helper is a sister, with the name Riley, so it is possible the gender is just opposite to yours whatever you pick) tells you that somebody will probably buy that hologram and to come back to the cantina. You get there, and it’s been destroyed, and you have to fight some Purge Troopers, who seem to be responsible for killing literally everyone who knows the Emperor is dead, and everyone they have ever contacted, which seems to consist solely of this cantina for the moment. the plan from here is to go to the marketplace and regroup, then to find a way to get to Bespin, because…I guess because it was previously locked and now it isn’t. I’m not super clear on my motivations at this time.

Looks like i have to grind through an indeterminate number of “Sector Battles” in Bespin to unlock more story missions. These consist of raiding the orbiting Star Destroyer, which, while cool sounding, in practice just means I run the same mission over and over shooting storm troopers until the game tells me I can talk to somebody new. I am not entirely clear at this moment if there actually is content to be unlocked or if this is just the thing I’m supposed to do until the next update to the game comes out…

I have done some googling, and it seems that as of now the game just sort of ends here until enough people run assault missions on Bespin such that it triggers a Sector Battle. If we “win” that battle, it will open up more story. The Kabaam forums seem to indicate players think that’s how they managed to unlock Matau and Anoat during the Beta, but reading between the lines, it tells me that they have put a fictional wrapper on the fact that there is no content yet, and I am 100% sure that the sector battle in Bespin will magically coincide with a big game update.

In case anyone was wondering, there continues not to be any Bespin content, so I’m kind of just checking in with the game to get daily rewards and waiting for them to push an update. The devs did a big Q&A on their forum recently that promises all types of updates and such in the future: http://community.kabam.com/forums/showthread.php?578763-Answers-from-our-Q-amp-A-Session!

Update: my 19mth old daughter deleted Uprising off my phone the other day, and it seems that my account didn’t persist. I’m not sure I have it in me to start completely over; I don’t know where this leaves the WillowWatch cartel…

Also, there is still no Bespin content so far as I’m aware

I went ahead and opened a support ticket to try and recover my account, and in the meantime started a new character called ThornD Rumheller to grind back up. I made this one a female, just to see what would happen with Riley, and she is still a female, so that’s a cool choice on their part. I’m glad I made WillowWatch an open group that you can auto-join, once I’m back up to an appropriate level I’ll jump back in.

Meegosh Peck (Meegosh has no last name, so I call him what he is… PECK!) here. Would be excited to see more people in the group! I’ve essentially leveled up the cartel 2 lvls pretty much by myself. lol
