Obsessively. I recently got a Google Home, which it turns out is extremely useful for RPG night music. I’m already in the habit of running background music during games, a lot of big epic fantasy film soundtracks for games like D&D, all that big orchestral music that makes trailers look so awesome. The Google Home just kind of makes it an easier ambient control that also allow my players to make requests just by asking, “Hey Google, play me some Yacht Rock.” (Much to my chagrin.) Ghostbusters though, I’ll usually use a bunch of various 80’s-90’s era music, usually something kind of upbeat-y, but it all depends on theme. If the group is exploring a haunted mansion trying to draw an entity out, I go to Spooky mood music right away.
