ParticipantFinally got bored with waiting for someone to say anything about not using the SoA for building projects on and decided to start building this dream project. Based off the book series of the same, Redwall Abbey was always described as a feat of construction with many rooms, spacious halls for all occasions and, of course, mysteries and adventure.
Since I only built the main structure, I don’t plan on building the surrounding walls, Main Gate/Gate House and other exterior places.
In the novels, the structure and surrounding walls were constructed of red sandstone. Since such a thing doesent exist in the game, I went ahead and built it with the materials matching the closest to those used in the books; Polished Granite and brick stairs along with several types of wood. Mostly Spruce blocks.

I’ll upload more pictures, tomorrow, of the interior! Enjoy!

ParticipantSet Three of Interiors to Redwall Abbey.
The Entrance Hall:
The main hub of the Abbey. The main staircase to the Dorms, the stairs to Cavern Hole and the Kitchens and The Great Hall are located here.
The Infirmary:
Just off of the staircase between the second and third floor. Haven’t filled it in yet. But I’ll probably put in a few brewing setups, chests with potion ingredients and some pre crafted potions and a couple of beds.
The Abbot’s/Abbess’Chamber:
Located just to the right of the top of the main staircase, on the third floor and up a flight of private stairs. Nobody is allowed up there unless you get direct permission from the Abbot, or Abbess, themselves.

ParticipantThis is pretty boss. I wish I had time to make stuff like this in Minecraft. Heck, I’ve never even played it before.

Participant@tacticslion Glad to know I’m not the only one who know’s of this amazing series! I still need to read the last two books. His sudden death really devastated me. I don’t want the series to ever end.
More pics will be up tomorrow showing off more of the interior and exterior of the Abbey.
