KeymasterWe began this project over a year ago… wow. The discussion that started back on this thread has taken us on a crazy journey.
In THIS thread, discuss the new rules, the new equipment, what’s next, pics of you gaming – anything pertaining to keeping Ghostbusters roleplaying alive.

ParticipantI just had to chime in and say that this is awesome, Cap, Doug, and Co. Posting the new rules and making .pdfs of the original rules is icing on the cake. I already ordered my Franchise Kit and a few extra ghost dice and can’t wait to incorporate them into my games.
I’ll be sure to post some more thoughts and maybe a pic of the new materials in use once I have cards and dice in hand.
Bustin’ makes me feel good!

ParticipantHot damn! I am going for the franchise starter kit soon, hopefully it won’t be sold out

ParticipantI got the franchise kit, because I have really been bugging you guys about this for too long.
I do have a few questions:
For future releases, will it be possible to get custom franchise names on the certificate? (i.e. Columbia Ghostbusters)
I’m getting the franchise kit, but I’m pretty sure those Personnel Files will remain pristine. When will the printable PDFs become available?
Do you have a pretty pristine pdf of Pumpkin Patch Panic like you do the other books? The one I have is a little blurry around the letters.

If it weren’t for you guys’ encouragement this would’ve been a pipe dream!Answers:
Custom names are what the certificate is all about! There’s a form to enter your name just above the purchase button. I’ll make sure your certificate is for The Columbia Ghostbusters!Printable Personnel Files are already available! Head to the gear page or find the link on the how-to page to download them. I’d highly recommend using the ones we send – not just because they look cool, but because the high grade card stock we printed them on means that they will take a beating.
Will have to ask @seven about that book. We’ve only made available what he gave me.

ParticipantWoohoo! We all really appreciate it!
Getting a “Page Not Found” on the equipment and personnel pdfs, btw. Just a heads up.

KeymasterGood catch! Those are the most important ones. The links were missing “http://” All fixed now. Let us know if you find any more broken links!

Participantdo you think after you sell all franchise kits you can post where Ghostbuster Franchises opened? just curious what areas are covered

ParticipantI like pie.

Keymaster@pseery80 We’ll be giving shout-outs to the “first class” of new franchises in the next Nerdy Show episode released. @seven has talked about implementing a Google Map citing all the major events from GB:R, maybe that’s something we can add to it – not sure, as it might involve communicating directly with everyone who buys a kit to make sure it gels with their respective stories.

ParticipantThat would be a sweet idea but any map would be a cluster of the phenomenon taking place.

InactiveNow that the kits are officially out, I have to ask… anyone starting an online campaign?
The context for the franchise would be something similar to the international gb crew. Travel across the states/world to handle events for towns too small to afford a full franchise.

Participant@Anduin, I would be all over a Skype or Google Hangouts GB RPG campaign and love the high concept for it. Is this something you’re looking to run yourself or throwing out looking for an interested GM?
October 13, 2014 at 5:19 am #42849Armadon
ParticipantI would love to do that. But I am busy with two campaigns of my own.

ParticipantI may be interested in something. My schedule is a wee bit tight though and not entirely my own.
