    I kinda like it, except that it looks like he’s wearing a Crysis suit.

    OH GOD, AM I A PART OF THE PROBLEM?

    Sailin' about port to port, Smokin' 'em out fort by fort,
    Stealin' their loot ton by ton, Takin' their ships one by one.

    Could the trailer feel anymore generic? I mean seriously sub in any badass character to that scene and it doesn’t change a thing.

    I mean… we all knew this reboot after Darren Aronofsky left was going to be rough. The movie reads to me like a sci-fi action deal. No risks, just a popcorn flick. There’s nothing particularly wrong with that, it’s just not RoboCop.

    @Cap

    Remember my microsode topic about secret superhero movies? This is sort of the opposite of that, they took something that was not a generic superhero story and turned it into just that. 🙁

    Replying my own post, cause this is a sensitive issue for me, a family member (my inner child) was killed by an out of control Robocop sequel and I never got over it.

    First of, I know Batman movies are supposed to be oh so dark and gloomy and serious, but why does he need to feel “more pain that he has ever felt in his life” for a FIELD TEST simulation? I know Bruce likes to push himself beyond safe (or sane) limits in his training, but that’s a little much.

    Also, a better remake than this: Hobocop, Alex Murphy is rendered homeless by the callous policies of the ruthless corporation that owns the now privatized police force, forcing him to battle both his budding alcoholism and surprisingly mundane criminals. His struggle for his lost masculinity is revisited as his diminishing self esteem causes performance issues.
