    hello, I’m making this so we can start posting progress pics and reports as well as do some discussion about new new spawn. Currently the initial pyramid is in place and we have begun developing the area around it.

    Something I hope we can work with on this spawn is building a narrative. A loose one, of course, there’s a lot of people who’ll be working on it, one story can’t be the same for all. I really liked how organic things felt at the old FoA even though it was build up crazy-like. Even if it was undefinable, there was a story there.

    Well, the Top interior floor (4th) for the rail station is complete at Omni/Gamma Spawn, and last I checked floor 3 (right below the rail station floor) was mostly in place. Floor 2 has stairs to it, and floor extending from the stairs to the wall of the pyramid, and a base for a floor along the wall, but is otherwise incomplete. I had mentioned that it seemed like a good floor to place community farms (because of its size), and left glowstone, wheat seeds, dirt, and clay/red bricks for starting farm construction. Before that can happen, someone is going to have to figure out where the farms will be situated, along with lighting. I would recommend water being next to the wall, because it is wasted space otherwise. Don’t know if I’ll get to log on again before next week, visiting family and whatnot.

    Okay so I’ve been thinking about this a bit and I think that, when we go about building the cardinal direction roads, each of the 4 should be build by a different Architect. That way we can make sure each has its own personality and story.

    I call dibs on the road that goes towards old spawn (and more importantly for this story, Kaopolis). Star Road 2 here we come.

    A nether portal room has been created above the rail station in Gamma. The roads have been brought out to over 200m each, with the exception of the star road which has gone much further. Farms have been set up in the eaves of the recommended floor. Basements 1-3 are still undeveloped, but admittedly could be sealed off for future use if no plan is made for their use.

    I may have a use for the absolutely lowest sub-basement. It’ll be the basis for a dungeon I may build, Undermountain style. I may dust off my various Undermountain and Castle Greyhawk modules for inspiration.

    New, or even old users who wish to brave this horrific depth won’t have to go far. ;D

    Hey so just to make sure that we stay away from the confusion that was old-new spawn, I think we should make plots for shops and businesses and stuffs. Inside and outside of the building, if possible.

    The West-bound road (The Star Road) is now finished. All together it travels over 1300m and terminates where it joins with the Underway, the undersea tunnel connecting the Old Spawn mainland to Kaopolis.

    I noticed a few GIGANTIC empty hidden floors underneath the complex: Anyone want to work to create an under-city comprised of structures of multiple users? It seems like the only logical thing to do.

    In order to start the undercity, I will need someone with World Edit to delete the Bedrock Bi-layer that separates the Two floors (1st down and 2nd down) that are to be used. I hope someone sees this that can answer this call.

    Was thinking to knock together some terminal stations at the ends of the cardinal railways. Something about the carts just stopping there and piling up bothers me.

    Ok, so far the suggestions for the chamber(s) below spawn are a dungeon and of a mall. We should probably have a proper conversation about this. Also remember, we don’t ‘have’ to do anything with it right now, we could easily close it up until we come up with something great, and it doesn’t have to be be a functional thing, it could be a museum, art gallery or monument, etc.
