Great show, wonderful list, shame about a botched engagement attempt but I’m sure it worked out in the end.
@cap, question: when lightning dogs becomes real do you think you can keep a professional opinion and place it accurately in the future top 20 list it is going to be apart of?
While I would love to see a concert featuring Spinal Tap and The Electric Mayhem, I feel like it would most likely devolve into an argument as to who is headlining.
@cap this is the all-in-photoshop animated film I mentioned in the PSMystery segment. I didn’t realize you’d not heard of it, it may have been specific enough to merit it’s own honorable mention. I believe it is the autobiographical account of this artist going over to china to collect his hard-living buddy who had gotten himself into a bunch of trouble:
@max I dug it up for the episode links! Clicked through it a bit and am really enthused to check it out. Looks amazing. Kinda like if Plympton and Bakshi’s modern stuff had killer use of digital colors and effects instead of the dubious old-folks-using-new-mediums look they’ve got presently.
While waiting to watch Rogue One I watched the hyper reality short. Amazing fuel content for my current rpg sessions.
In reality I am dreading to see this happen.
It gives me hope for Ghost in the Shell live action movie
Ha! That’s true. If Ghost in the Shell uses a modicum of the motion graphic sass that Hyper-Reality used on a shoestring budget, it’ll be rad. Though, as I understand it, Denn? Coil would be the anime adaptation that would really push the AR vibe.
this is how the robots should have taken over in the matrix. Start the VR and just lock people into it after a time, people are more than happy to escape
