Looking for some PC gamers
August 24, 2013 at 12:47 pm #33965
So I recently decided to build a new PC and get back into gaming. I’m looking for some folks interested in playing some multiplayer games. I’m open to trying pretty much anything. If I don’t have the game I’m not opposed to buying some new ones since I’m rebuilding my collection anyways. If you’re interested look me up on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/jobarda/ or PM me.
As a side note, I’ve got 3 gift codes for Orion:Dino Horde first come first serve, one per person. Send me a PM and I’ll edit this post as they’re claimed.
Edit: Thanks to @kaosubaloo I see that there is a Nerdy Show group on Steam, sweet!August 24, 2013 at 3:36 pm #33972Kevin WiseParticipant
Is this Orion: Dino Horde a cooperative dinosaur shooting game? I see vehicles which is all I was good at in Halo. I notice it’s on sale this weekend, is it worth the $3.74?
Also, hit me up if you want to play some games. Whats your genre?August 24, 2013 at 3:55 pm #33974
Yea its the co-op dino game. It’s got some pretty cool vehicles as well. It’s absolutely worth the $3.74 and like I said I’ve got some I can gift away if you’re interested. I’ve only put about an hour into it and I was hooked. Lots of cool weapons and upgrades make it a ton of fun. I’m all over the map with games. Most recently I’ve been playing Saints Row 3, Just Cause 2, DMC, TF2, Battlefield 3, Risen 2, and Dino Horde. Haven’t really found any great multiplayer stuff but I’m still looking. Most of my multiplayer experience has been FPS.August 24, 2013 at 5:41 pm #33975Kevin WiseParticipant
Ever muck about with the likes of Torchlight 2 or Terraria? They’re both quite enjoyable multiplayer.August 24, 2013 at 6:12 pm #33976
thanks to the very benevolent @gundamking I now have Torchlight 2 so I will absolutely be giving that a try. I played Terraria a while back at a friend’s house but it’s been quite some time since I’ve played, the wife has been wanting to try it so I may buy it soon and see how it goes.August 25, 2013 at 4:52 pm #33986TajahemParticipant
DOTA 2 is finally out of beta and it is free. I took a quick glance at the Nerdy Show group while writing this and of the eight people in game five were in DOTA 2.
Also don’t forget to check out things like the humble bundle for a bunch of games at whatever you want to pay. Currently its an EA bundle so my linux using ass is left out again.August 25, 2013 at 7:58 pm #33987
@tajahem I’m downloading DOTA2 right now so I’ll check that out once it’s finished. I’m currently playing the crap out of Torchlight 2 and I’m also downloading Planetside 2 which looks pretty fun. I’ve got email alerts set up for Humble Bundle and I purchased the EA one day one, really good deal for $5.August 28, 2013 at 8:27 am #34034KorrikParticipant
I had a thread up some time ago for people to drop their steam names, gamertags, PSNIDs,etc. Unfortunately, it was lost along with several other threads. My steam ID is ZeroKinshin23, feel free to hit me up.August 28, 2013 at 5:42 pm #34036MuckRakerParticipant
