    Hi all-

Just a quick question: How many franchises are represented here (as in, how many are here reading/posting on the forums)? If there are enough, what would all the Ghostmasters think of creating a “worldwide psychokinetic event” (read: living campaign)? Not something horribly long per se, but we cooperatively create some campaign idea that we could all take back to our franchises, the report milestones, then and create as we go?

I don’t know of enough GMs are here to do so, and if there is any interest, but it might also be a good way for new GMs to get involved with more experienced ones, and to create a great product!

    What are your thoughts?

I don’t know how many GMs are active on the forums, but I love the idea of a community event!

I wouldn’t be opposed. However I’m currently down to 2 effectives (scheduling is painful), so I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this game going.

I would be really down for that. In 2019, we’ll be having the 35th Anniversary Event, so this could be a great way for our RPG Community to do our own big event much like how IDW had their ‘Mass Hysteria’ Event in 2014. On that note, I’m already looking for more people to play with me this year, so the Vineyard Ghostbusters might be expanding their ranks pretty soon.

Love the idea of an “Infinite Earths” style crossover between surviving members of the GBR, D&D, Pokeballs of Steelix, and Call of Cthulhu characters against an awesome evil.

@kyle We entertained the idea of doing a D&D crossover with GBR. It was in the running as part of a fundraising drive, but lost to The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program. Maybe someday.

Seeing as The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program is my favorite Nerdy Show RPG, I’m glad you didn’t.

I can’t wait for The Call of Cthulhu Mystery Program to continue. Please call it “Part II” like an old horror movie.

@kyle Or how about: “The Return of Cthulhu Mystery Program”?

It does have a certain ring to it. Tell you what. Do “The Return” and if it’s successful enough for a 3rd miniseries, call that one “Part III”.
