    Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been announced for the 3DS with a release date of November 2014.

    You can all stop sacrificing the Gogoats now.

    Also: I’m betting this is how we get the mega stones for Latios and Latias.

    As I’ve said in a couple other places where this announcement has popped up today; “An epic new adventure is coming!” New? New?! I… ugh;

    Also, If Nintendo/Gamefreak are going to keep insisting on Pokemon’s tagline being “Gotta catch ’em all!”, I really think they need to step the crap up and release the event-distribution-only pokemon on a more robust schedule. They could be releasing one of them every two months and it would still take just under 2 years for any new players to even hope of catching them all. And that’s just the event-only’s from gens 1-5. X&Y introduced 3 more, only one of which has been ‘revealed’ for release in Japan, to go with the next movie – the rest of us are SOL for the time being.

    They’ll probably be available at your local Gamestop or ToysRus before too long… 😛
    But yeah, Nintendo had more or less abandoned the “Gotta catch ’em all all” tagline until recently.
    Overall, yeah, its a terribly misleading trailer for anyone who’s new to the franchise.
    But it does give a first glimpse at what is possibly Mega Groudon/Kyougre, since Nintendo has said that their images on those mock up covers are NOT stylized pictures.
