    I’m Kyle! I have loved radio shows/audio dramas since childhood and I never get to game with anyone so I am indebted to The Nerdy Show for allowing me to enjoy it nevertheless. I love movies, graphic novels, podcasts, Monopoly, and ridiculous tee shirts. I’m a Patron, too.

    Haha, Dru-Zod is Zod’s full name and it’s never mentioned in the movies. Also, Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut is among my favorite films.

    How much do I have to donate for your guys to create a Jurassic Park RPG and have Brandon be Nedry in it?

    @kyle Ahahaha!

    …A lot. But not because we wouldn’t want to do it. Just because we’re struggling under the weight of all the projects we’ve already got! A JP RPG sounds amazing. Does one not exist? If not, what a missed opportunity!

    After Cthulhu comes back we’re very likely to figure out a way to bring back fan-voted RPG specials like how Paranoia, Cthulhu, and Star Wreck got decided on. That was a lot of fun. There’s plenty of miniseries we’d like to do – it’s just that the production for the RPG series is really time-intensive.

    Actually @kyle, interesting story:

    @cap probably doesn’t remember, but after Season One of GBR ended, I pitched several other ideas for RPG podcasts. One of them was going to be based on a Jurassic Park tabletop game designed by me called “Jurassic Park: Survival.” Ultimately we decided GBR needed a second season. But as part of my pitch, I made a teaser poster:

    Had several other ideas, but since one of my favorite movies of all time is Jurassic Park, I’d love to give it a try someday.

    Nope – totally forgot! We talked more about the Indiana Jones D6 system. Awfully convenient you’ve done all the work already…

    Well it occurred to me that JP has a rich environment full of things that need to be quested for, fixed, and battled that was a natural staple of RPG’s, and Brandon specifically would be a perfect Nedry.

    You never know if you don’t ask, right?

    Is there something I can read to help me have a better grasp of RPGs? I have a working knowledge but I’d like to understand it better and I love you guys for making these shows so I can still enjoy RPGs when I’m unable to personally

    @kyle Well… each system is so very different from one another… but I’d say the simplest, most pure RPG ever is Ghostbusters so that might be a good place to start. We have all the books up at http://gbrpg.com Maybe cracking one of the books would help?
