Wage
ParticipantYanno, I’m starting to wonder if I’m not the cause of this mess. It seems like every time I manage to log in, I run for about fifteen minutes and there’s a crash. I use Rei’s Minimap, but that’s just a client-side mod and shouldn’t affect the server in any way, right?

Participantsee Wage broke it! 😛
Just messing with you wage, It could have been me.

ParticipantRegardless of who did what, the server’s still down at the time of this post. Ladies and gentlemen, is there a servergod in the house tonight?
Despite what my username says, I am certifiably flawless.

ParticipantEh, just saying, it always seems to crash when I’m on, and ALWAYS while in a minecart. Might have something to do with it.

ParticipantIn the future wage becomes a minecart and this phenomena created by a paradox.

ParticipantServer’s down again. Seriously, what is causing this? Why is this happening, and why can’t we stop it? This is basically my only source of enjoyment during exams, and it makes me sad when I’m unable to play.
I’m about ready to advocate scrapping this entire mike foxtrot world if it means the server will work again. That’s how bad it’s getting.
EDIT: It was up for a bit, then it crashed again, with yet another fatal “read timeout” error. This is poof.

KeymasterCalm down there! I just moved the server back over to its ‘real’ hardware, which took a while because I had to reconfig the port forwarding and the max players etc. I made a post about it and everything.

ParticipantWait, the server wasn’t on its ‘real’ hardware all this time? I’m confused. Perplexed even.

ParticipantExplains a bit about the stuttering and lag, at least.

KeymasterAfter the brand new server inexplicably died it’s taken ’til now to get it repaired under warranty. It was running on my computer in the meantime. Now it’s back to its dedicated machine.

Participant“I am also currently running the corrupt (but more recent) server on port :55566. So if you go there with a lawman they can help you move your stuff.”
Was… this actually ever a thing? Because I’ve haven’t been able to connect the that port this entire time, and I’d like to pull a medium sized thing or two – unless there’s going to be some action on this “OK, has there been any known corruption areas in the nether? If there hasn’t I’ll bring back the old one in full.” front, as the nether is where I’d like to get the majority of those schematics…

KeymasterYeah, the 55566 port works, I literally just checked it. FYI though, its still on half hour restarts to make sure it stays up. You know, in case someone gets into the corrupt zone

KeymasterShit Trent, I’m sorry. It’s at 25566 as in the default port + 1. I must have got carried away when I wrote the other.
