If you include steams fall sale in the holidays, I got quite a few, the best being To the Moon which I cannot recommend enough.. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was excellent. Still playing through borderlands 2 which is good. Scribblenauts unlimited is light and fun. TripleTown is an addictive matching game. McPixel is silly and odd. Still have yet to go through Home, Lone Survivor, Quantum Conundrum, and Zeno Clash. I love and hate steam sales so much.
@maraun The boys have seriously touted Assassins Creed 3, but Halo 4 comes highly recommended as well. They’re both from established franchises so I doubt you’ll be able to go wrong, but I have heard that as far as those franchises go AC3 is a little more diverse in regards to the series than Halo 4 is.
@Maraun I agree with @Musical_Jinn start with Assassins Creed 3 it has a crap load of things to do, but also as you finish AC3 and start Halo4 the 2nd half of season 1 of spartan ops will start back up.
It's about "SHOW TIME" so drop by http://demonlordm.deviantart.com/
I ended up playing Halo 4 for about an hour and a half, got frustrated at how the grenades were about as effective as blowing glitter in the covenant’s faces. I just finished AC3 today. Loved it. The naval battles controlling the ship made me feel the most pirate I have in a long time. I’ll get into H4 soon, but I’m not in a massive rush. I even picked up Borderlands 1 on clearance and played through it before H4. I’m not sure that B-lands would’ve been worth full price back in the day, but it was awesome value for the $10 I found it at. Can’t wait for B-lands 2 to come down in price.
