Seems they’ve finally done it! You lot probably already know about this one, but hell, just too awesome to not post about. All of Westeros, on a Minecraft server. Unbelievable.

You’ll have to install a new texture pack to really get the look and feel down, so rather than give the direct server IP, I’ll just post a link to the home page.

Essentially, an entire fantasy world built on a Minecraft server. In this case, Westeros, from the A Song Of Ice And Fire series.

Sadly,I am unfamiliar with the series, but i figure for me it would be like someone recreating all of Tamriel.

TO be fair, Westeros is *not* the whole ASoIaF world, but only the continent that most of the action takes place on.

Still, for a sense of scale, once this is done I would rate it somewhere shortly behind recreating Middle Earth in Minecraft.

Granted, yes, Westeros is but one continent, and they haven’t done the ENTIRE bit … simply from Craster’s to King’s Landing. They haven’t hit Dorne, or the Frostfangs. But still … that’s an amazing amount of territory they’ve covered.
