Yeah, I stopped by her boot last year to say hi briefly.
Oooh, a nerdy show presence would be awesome. More than one nerdy show member being able to talk about Maker Faire would really add some more pop to the annual nerdy show episodes which are already awesome and one of the things which inspires me to make the 8+ hour drive from where I live in SoCal. There is just so much awesome to see. I’m sure there are plenty of people you could do awesome interviews with. Everyone is more than willing to talk about the things they make, and there are a lot of really cool things. It might also be a good way to promote the show.
There was a bit of a chiptunes presence there as well. There was a group with some awesome gear doing an improvised chiptunes jam. The key board is a setup with a custom controller program to allow him to dynamically control his chiptunes device(I don’t remember what the device was, I think either a game boy or commodore64)
Weren’t you guys talking about looking for one of those hamburger dispensers as well? San Francisco is right next door. Automatic Hamburger Machine
