Astronautalis has been re-releasing weird old music on his bandcamp that is either out of print or never available before. He just put one up that came out pre-pomegranate that was only released in Germany on vinyl:

The Very Unfortunate Affairs of Mary & Earl is awesome!

About a year after the German vinyl release it was also put out via one of those lanyards you buy with a download code attached.

I’m hoping this experiment of his culminates in Dancehall Hornsound II, which I saw him tweeting about working on seemingly forever ago. I know he’s been working on his new actual record too.

Agreed! Dude has so many projects that are still to come. The songs I’ve heard from the new record are AMAZING though.

That Sike! EP is pretty fun. I saw he was talking about a new record, then that came out and I was like “oh, i guess this is cool, but I was kind of expecting a full album..” and then like the next week he was like “YO! Here’s my new album!” and I was like “Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!” #PreOrder
