Hey gang! We’ve finally secured an interview with Travis Beacham, screenwriter for Pacific Rim.

We’ll be grilling him Nerdy Show style (medium well) but we’d be remiss if we didn’t open the floor up to you fine folks. Hit us up with some questions about the screenplay, the world of Pacific Rim, the production process, his favorite yogurt flavors, whatevs – and we’ll select some to ask him!

With the size of the world and the amount of history you have made, what are some of the things that you wish weren’t cut for the film?

what is up with the different names give to the kaiju, like how some are a japanese name while others describe what they look like?

How did you come up with the idea and character of Hannibal Chau? Also where can I get a pair of sunglasses like Hannibal’s?

What scene bought joy to you when you saw it bought to life on the big screen?

What is the reason behind calling the giant monsters “kaiju”?

What made you choose the setting (time wise) instead of the beginning of the kaiju war? Was one of reason for that because of the up coming Godzilla Movie?

speaking of Godzilla, what is your favorite Giant Monster movie?
