@cap, I’d like to throw this idea into the creative hopper, and y’all can do with it what you will:
Either this is the Real Cap’n Scrap who has no crew or organization, and that dude with all the Cap’n Hook regalia is like Jodo Kast to his Boba Fett, or we have a legitimate Dread Pirate Roberts situation here, and this is a retired former Scrap.

Ha! Yeah, we’re not nearly clever enough to have done that eyepatch deal. There’s just no locked design yet. I love Max’s design from Inktober. I think they’re gonna evolve into a separate character.

I’ve never drawn Scrap with an eyepatch, though once in Inktober he had some reading glasses on. I think the short answer is that there is no offical design for Scrap yet because he isn’t on the critical path to the story bible. #StayOnTarget

No official design yet. But I think he’s too serious business for a fancy hat. A simple, practical tricorner – if anything. Now… that cousin of his that impersonates him… he’s the kinda asshole who would wear a fancy hat.

He has a bandanna when I draw him, but I don’t know that there is an official design yet.

here is a simple one, Since Captain Scrap is a Captain, does he have a fancy hat

Weisman might be king of this in American cartoons. Xanatos/ Fox and the whole Young Justice season 2 switcheroos were amazing.
It seems silly buttering him up all the time, but the dude is a legend for a reason.

It’s interesting as a question; Usually face-turn bad guys are somehow diminished by it, and heel-turn good guys tend to be god-mode. In a lot of media you see a lot of Good Guys becoming Bad and a lot of Bad guys becoming good so what is your guys favorite Face and/or Heel turns?
