They’re definitely Chessex. I bought them in a set from their booth at DragonCon. The white dots look perfectly fine on the swirl background. I’m pretty sure they’re the ones you’re talking about.

I haven’t been able to continue my tabletop game (bummer, since it’s October and all) but I did manage to add some swirly pink/purple dice to my collection which perfectly match the green ones. They remind me of the river that flows through the pneumatic transit system.

Yes, I’d definitely have the PCs use those traits as perception as appropriate for the scene.

Man the formatting tools on this forum need some work.

I don’t intend to tie ‘perception’ to any one skill, it’s all in context. If things are frantic you might need to use your COOL to get a handle on things, if everything is calm you’d use your BRAINS for the investigation.

The system is pretty loosey-goosey at its core and I like it that way.
