Going through the storage closet, found this wrapping some old china. Had to share it.

  • Important Setting Question: Lasers.

Do the laser weapons work like classic Sci-Fi blasters, firing short, distinct bolts, or do they fire continuous beams like actual lasers?

Also, do the energy weapons have recoil?

Basically how important are actual physics vs visual cinematics?

On the subject of naming things, Has any thought gone into names for the countries on Domus? I know there are (or at least were) 2 major powers.

There’s a trope I’ve seen where military characters, especially when operating in foreign territory, will introduce themselves by mentioning the service they work for, e.g. “Sgt. William Duvall, United…[Read more]

Ok, Cool. I just saw that sketchbook.

I actually checked it before I posted, but the one I have on my phone is the Patreon pre-release version.

What system are you basing the ranks on? It seems to primarily be army, but you have Dingo listed as Commander, which is a Naval rank (US O5, Wikipedia.com). The equivalent Army rank is Lt. Colonel.

I mean, ultimately it’s up to you, just something I noticed.

Yeah, I don’t see much reason for that to come up.

Besides, it’s extremely unlikely a Bob Barker PSA would survive that long. 😛

  • OK,

So this is based on things that have been said before. I agree that I can’t see any way that he could be restored to life in his original body.

In season 2, vampirism was described as being like a ghost possessing their own body. Now there seems to be a strong connection, as when the body is destroyed the spirit seems to be as well. So,…[Read more]

  • Hey, Loving the season so far.

I have a theory/idea for how a Vampirism cure (well, cure is a strong word) could work. Does anyone mind if I post it here or should I just hold onto it?

It’s good that Narissa got some attention, she was sort of in the background in the earlier episodes. Can’t wait to hear her backstory.

@cap On my earlier question, I see what you mean about the Kryptonite comparison, I was mainly thinking natural color variations, like in quartz. I think the main thing I wanted to know is if there would be a way…[Read more]

    Hey all,

I have a question about our favorite MacGuffin, the as yet un-named crystals.

What color are they, or does it matter? In my head I picture the natural crystals as shades of green and blue, while synthetics are purple and red. I think that’s based on the connotations associated with those colors (after all, the natural crystals are the…[Read more]

The Rover is a cool design. So, since this is official, the dogs do use ICEs on Domus? Most of the discussions that are out have strongly alluded to everything there being crystal powered.

  • I wouldn’t be opposed. However I’m currently down to 2 effectives (scheduling is painful), so I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this game going.

  • Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night? Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic? Have you or your family ever seen a spook, specter, or ghost?

Well fret no more, The Ghostbusters of Fredericksburg are looking for dedicated, capable individuals to continue the fight against the forces of the…[Read more]

    Ozymandias
    Percy Bysshe Shelley, 1792 – 1822

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
    Which yet survive, s…[Read more]

    Great Picks!

While I would love to see a concert featuring Spinal Tap and The Electric Mayhem, I feel like it would most likely devolve into an argument as to who is headlining.

I got so used to having all the episodes, having to wait is torture.

    Episode 8:

I think you have a good spread of era’s there, it will be interesting to see how you flesh them out in the next 2 episodes.

Having the Lightning Dog be a legendary event is a nice touch. I think you’re doing a good job of working in the dog mentality. One of the…[Read more]
