@rgbbr These are awesome, Brendan! Color me jealous.
On an unrelated note, the Fredericksburg Area Ghostbusters are still kicking. We’ve had three sessions, each one better than the last. We haven’t had any crazy crossovers yet, but we did encounter our very first pocket dimension and a family of 19th century farmer ghosts (7 if you count the…[Read more]

@rgbbr Brendan, you just alleviated my anxiety about “roles” within a Ghostbusters team. If a team of three 5 Brains characters can make it work, than any other combo can, too.
The Fredericksburg Area Ghostbusters start this Saturday. Maybe we’ll be able to share some of our stats, too.

Wow, it’s cool getting to see the stats of the GBR team. Through listening I knew a lot of the Talents, but could not have predicted that their scores were so high. I take it there have been a few increases in between seasons? Doug, how have you gone about letting the guys increase their core stats? And, I know Briggs began with a Muscles talent…[Read more]

If more Ghost Dice are needed I have seven of them (I used to run GB RPG at conventions) on top of a deck of the cards and stuff.

Loved this trailer. It’s great to see all of the old Star Wars designs (Stormtroopers, Star Destroyers, X-Wings, Yavin Base) back again. I’m a huge fan of the X-wing Legends novels and a lot of the other Star Wars material that has nothing to do with the Force and the Jedi (although I like those too). Very excited to get a good story, just…[Read more]

Is that Fredericksburg, Virginia by any chance?
While I may be the founder of the Southern California Ghostbusters branch, circumstances had me move back to the east coast and to the Fredericksburg area last year. I ask A.) Because I had to and B.) If you do start up a game and have room in your heart and at your table for another…[Read more]

@Anduin, I would be all over a Skype or Google Hangouts GB RPG campaign and love the high concept for it. Is this something you’re looking to run yourself or throwing out looking for an interested GM?

I just had to chime in and say that this is awesome, Cap, Doug, and Co. Posting the new rules and making .pdfs of the original rules is icing on the cake. I already ordered my Franchise Kit and a few extra ghost dice and can’t wait to incorporate them into my games.
I’ll be sure to post some more thoughts and maybe a pic of the new materials in…[Read more]

Sorry to hear about the delays, Cap, Doug, Matasm, and co. Stuff happens and I know we all appreciate the extra time being put into ensuring these cards are not just awesome, but perfect as well.
Not sure how much time the delay will add, but in case anyone on the forums needs cards for a GB game at Gen Con or a local convention (like LA’s…[Read more]
