E3 2013 ends with a bang! This is the last and final part of our daily podcasts, and the biggest one yet. We made the most of day 3 and this double-length episode is jam-packed with game impressions and our top 5 games of the show! (Check them out below if you’re into spoilers.)
We demo out Nintendo titles including The Wonderful 101, Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario 3D World. We try out the new Harmonix/ Disney collaboration Fantasia and check out the remake of Castle of Illusion. We sample the finest games from the early PS4 roster: Watch Dogs and Transistor. We sit in on presentations for Batman: Arkham Origins, Thief: Out of the Shadows, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as well as get in on a 60-player demo of Battlefield 4, try out indie game, Colossal Kaiju Combat, and yes, there’s more.
It’s a heck of a finale to an exhausting week of amazing new games and heated debates over new consoles. The next year will be a decisive one for the landscape of the industry and it all starts here.
