Season 4 Episode 14 :: E3 2011, Day 3
We’re back in L.A. for another round with the biggest video game event of the year: E3! This is part 3 of our daily E3 podcasts, the second day of the Expo hall being open. It is a dark time for the Nerdy Show crew. Although they were among the first in the convention hall, the lines for this year’s E3 are massive in length and nothing could have prepared them for this much waiting.
Mike, Brandon, and Matt stormed the gates of E3 to make sure that they’d get their hands on the Wii U – and they did, but it wasn’t without loss. Star Wars expert, Matt, had to leave the line in order to make his Old Republic dreams come true. He’s quite the trooper (even though he’s a little short for one). What are their verdicts on these two mutually hyped and exciting gaming experiences? Not what you’d expect!
Join Jonna, Cap, Colin, and Hex for a tour of the E3 crew’s perilous, line-filled day at E3. But it wasn’t all boredom and heartache, the boys did eventually get to try out some sweeet games and also got to hang out with some super-cool pro nerds: Marty McFly voice actor, A.J. Locasio, and the team behind Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin? Cool!
