Season 4 Episode 14 :: E3 2011, Day 2 – omg wtf WiiU
We’re back in L.A. for another round with the biggest video game event of the year: E3. This is part 2, day two, of our daily E3 podcasts – You can check out part one right here.
This may be day two, but it’s the first day that the doors of E3’s convention hall are open to the public, and it’s also the last day of the big conferences. First thing in the morning Nintendo lay in wait like a cunning beast, ready to pounce on our minds with something insane: WiiU.
Brandon, Mike, and Matt give their first-hand Nintendo press conference experiences and join in with Jonna, Cap, and Colin for a discussion on all of the Big N’s latest, from a slew of exciting 3DS titles, to their mysterious and unusual new system: WiiU. Matt Rex had a hands-on with the new controller and gives us his take, while the rest of us discuss what we think it means, our concerns, and our hopes for the new hardware. That plus the guys’ experiences with Telltale Games – their first look at Jurassic Park, Walking Dead, and another exciting comic book-based video game, as well as Wakfu, and more!
