This was brought up when it was song in this week’s gaming stream with Tony and Trench but I don’t think anyone found the definitive answer.

So I am posting it here hoping that Hex or Doctor Vern with there nerd music knowledge can Answer the question once and for all:

Who sung “The Beer Song”?

I see attributions to Weird al stemming from a Flash video, Back when I was pirating music I got it Attributed to The Arrogant worms (I don’t pirate anymore and it got wiped in a HDD crash.) and other sources attribute it to DDVV and Adam Sandler.

That is also a good beer song. I think it is possible to do a multi-part episode just on songs about drinking.

Even *I* can’t answer this definitively, but I’m putting my money on Arrogant Worms. If it isn’t them, it was likely done by some wacky morning DJ’s or something that would be equally hard to give true attribution to. I’ll keep digging.
