“Weird Al” Yankovic has released his second music video this week, “Word Crimes,” a parody of Robin Thicke’s controversial “Blurred Lines.” Yesterday’s video was “Tacky,” a parody of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” Both of these are a part of Weird Al’s #8videos8days campaign accompanying his latest album release, Mandatory Fun.

Yesterday, Consequence of Sound posted an article entitled “The Very Best of Weird Al”. Cap, a contributing writer to Consequence of Sound, contributed write ups for “Party in the C.I.A.” as Best Pop Parody and “Jurassic Park” as Best Movie/TV Song. Check out the article for all of the choices.

On Thursday, we’re posting a podcast with Weird Al himself that Cap did in conjunction with Consequence of Sound. Keep your eyes open for that.

Al’s latest record, Mandatory Fun, is out today. Buy it via  iTunes | Amazon
